Retro Design began with a simple idea: the case you carry every day deserves the same care as the object it protects.
Our patterns are drawn by hand from traditional Chinese motifs — blue-and-white porcelain of the Ming kilns, cinnabar lacquerwork, the ice-crackle glaze of Song celadon, the flying ribbons of the Dunhuang caves. Each design is printed in small batches on slim, protective shells, and checked one by one before it ships.
